Ron Carter is a legendary bassist at the forefront of jazz.
Style. Elegance. Heart. Soul. Brain.

I had the pleasure and the honor to take his photos during his recent concert in Pescara (Italy) and I was lucky that I had with me the new zoom SIGMA 70-200/2.8 DG DN Sports just arrived for my review. Fast and sharp, huge quality, I did’t miss a photo.
I took these photos during the afternoon rehearsal.
Ron Carter was named Outstanding Bassist of the Decade by the Detroit News, Jazz Bassist of the Year by Downbeat Magazine, and Most Valuable Player by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. For me, he’s simply “The Legend”.
Ron Carter said “My responsibility as a bassist and band leader is using every opportunity to create spectacular music” and he did.
In 2021 the Japanese government awarded him The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette.
Looking forward to the next time you are back in Italy. Thank you, Ron!
